PERSONAL STATEMENT

I believe God has given me a gift to do marriage counseling and conduct weddings as the celebrant.

I was ordained by a small Christian church in San Diego and am authorized to perform both religious and spiritual/non-denominational weddings, as well as baptisms and celebration-of-life services.

My first wedding was between Sam and Adele Scheely in the Summer of 1971 in Century City, near the campus of UCLA.

While I have officiated at more than 2000 wedding ceremonies, every single solitary union has been preceded by a couples interview and a written and prepared text, totally personalized to each and every couple.
