Our slogan is "Beautiful Words Make Beautiful Weddings" and while there are lots of beautiful words in the world, we craft many of those just for the two of you. Here's how we work:
First I meet with you both, preferably at my home. We sit around the dining room table and get acquainted. I try to learn what you both want in your wedding, and I listen and offer suggestions where appropriate. I try to find out if you want a personal ceremony that honors the families and special friends you plan to invite. If you do, I gather information about parents, siblings, best man, maid of honor, grandparents; the people who have loved and nurtured you. This way I can help you honor your family and friends, making them feel closer to each other and certainly closer to you.
Next I seek to learn about your relationship. I want to know how you met, how you began to build your relationship, and when and where the proposal took place. During this part of our time together, I want to learn the things you both like and treasure and respect in each other. After I gather enough of this kind of information, I then craft a sweet love story to share with your family and friends. I believe doing this causes your gathering to feel a deeper respect for the relationship you both have been building.
After we meet, I go to my computer and begin to write your personal ceremony. When I complete it, Donna then reviews what I have done, and brings in the feminine point of view, so that the ceremony is more balanced. She offers suggestions all along the process and is such a great partner in this work we share.
Another way Donna gets involved is in preparing the draft of the ceremony we mail to each couple several months after their marriage ceremony. She sometimes needs to call to check the spelling of names, correct addresses and other details.
Then together we draft a thank you letter, letting you both know how grateful we are that you let us share with you your special day, and what an honor it truly was.
When we tell you that "Beautiful Words Make Beautiful Weddings" you can have the confidence in knowing that they are well chosen words about you as a couple, your family, your friends, and the wonderful and loving relationship you want to honor.
Donna and Jerry enjoy a happy moment
at a recent wedding reception.
